Meet Tamerra ✨

Welcome Back! This week I connected with @magicandcurls to gain insight to her perspective on the world of social media, and learn some her tips for navigating this crazy world of content creation. When following Tamerra, I loved how she used her creativity to bring other issues that are going on in the actual world to light. With the use of Q&A stories, and questions at the bottom of her actual posts, Tamerra interacts with all of her followers to the fullest extent. Recently, she created Walt Disney World park collages to showcase bringing Disney Style to your home during quarantine. The use of colors, imagery, and creativity is what allows her to build actual connections with people, even if you live states away.
Not only does this girlie dabble in amazing style, she also has #MindfullnessFridays and #WisdomWednesdays , when she comes on and talks about things that either she has been dealing with, seeing, or general things she wants to share with you. We all know social media can be a comparing game or a tiring task...or maybe you just aren't feeling the best.
With her many resources, links, and insights her account brings pressing issues into light. Tamerra always makes you feel like you are valued, and is truly interested in answering any questions you may have. I was so honored to be able to have her answer some questions about life as a part time content creator!

Where do you come up with your content ideas?
Sometimes get inspiration from the community, collaborations with others, or myself.
Recommendations for content creators just starting out?
Be yourself. Don’t feel like you need to do what everyone else is doing, being true to you is what will set you apart from everyone else.
What's your favorite place to adventure to?
Disney of course, but I love historic cities too!
What's your favorite part about your day?
Not knowing where it can go! Every day has the potential to be a new adventure.
If you could be any animal what would you be? Why?
A cat big or small. They are just cute and fierce haha
How do you suggest to go about collaborations with brands?
I’ve personally never sought out collabs, but always have been open to the opportunities. Just be open and don’t let it become the only thing that’s important!
What advice would you give to someone who is not always confident it the content they put out there?
The number one person you have to believe in is you. Looking to social media for confidence is a slippery slope and let’s be honest validation is just for parking honey!! You got this!
Universal or Disney?
I feel I’m a little unfairly biased to Disney, and have only been to Universal twice!
Where is some place you wish to visit in the future?
Japan, France, Switzerland, and Kenya
What is the main thing you wish to put into the world?
Happiness, FOR SURE!
Any other interesting facts about you?
I work a 9-5 and do social media completely on the side. I’ve only ever want to have a space to function as a creative outlet and speak with super cool people and so far it’s exceeded my expectations! I always lead with positivity, I’m goofy, I love sweets, and cats. I just hope to continue to affect the world the way so many have affected me over these last 2 years.
